Haven’s Audrey Parker played by Emily Rose
SyFys Haven did a brilliant job when they cast the beautiful Emily Rose as Audrey Parker, also Lucy Ripley and Sarah Vernon, and probably more we haven’t learned of yet. Audrey is an FBI agent that comes to town looking for a fugitive and finds so much more. In the process of hunting him down, we meet the other two parts of our OT3, Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant) and Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour). Audrey comes to town and doesn’t really have any ties to anyone, shes an orphan and has no friends to speak of. When she starts to help with local cases, she uncovers a newspaper article containing a picture with a woman that looks very much like her. At first she assumes the woman was her mother, but it turns out the secret is even bigger than that.
The “real” Audrey comes to town in season 2, and that is when truth finally starts to come out about who “our” Audrey is. Every 27 years when the troubles start to cause, well, trouble, she comes to town to help the people afflicted by them. This time it was as Agent Audrey Parker, before that she was Lucy Ripley. We don’t yet know a whole lot about Lucy. We come to find out that Vince (Richard Donat) and Dave (John Dunsworth) Teauges also know her as Sarah, (some timey-wimey things happen and we get to meet her too) and through her she is more connected to the Troubles than she ever thought possible.
Emily Rose plays Audrey Parker in Syfys’ Haven
Before I completely confuse you all with the exact details of Audrey/Lucy/Sara’s existence, Ill tell you about the incredible woman thats brought them all to life Emily Rose. The Washington born actress attended UCLA, where she graduated with a Masters degree in Fine Arts. Her first acting role came in 2006 in short film Hurricane Party. The following year she had a small part in Smith, a very short lived tv series, and then in another short film called Speed Dating.
She then began playing Cass on the TV series John from Cincinnati, and Lena Branigan on Brothers and Sisters. In between the two, she started her very popular character voice over for Uncharted: Drakes Fortune as video game vixen Elena Fisher. In 2008 she starred in two short films The Orphan and The Last Page, played Trish Merrick on Jericho and had guest spots on Cold Case and Without a Trace. 2009 started with TV movie Operating Instructions, Two and a Half Men a role on ER. She also continued her voice over of Elena for 2 more Uncharted games, a guest spot on Ghost Whisperer and a role in TV movie Washington Field. 2010 saw Emily land a starring role in Perfect Plan alongside her future co-star Lucas Bryant. Her next endeavors included a 4th Uncharted game, another short movie (Heckle or Hell) and a spot on Harry’s Law.
Of course I may be biased, but following that came her best work to date, the role of Audrey/Lucy/Sarah/??? on SyFy’s Haven. Emily currently lives in LA with her wonderful husband Dairek Morgan, and as of April of this year the most adorable little baby boy Miles Christian Morgan. I don’t think I speak for only myself when I say I hope that Emily makes her TV home Haven for many seasons to come.
